offer our clients a unique opportunity to see the ancient city
of Bagan from a different perspective during their visit to
Bagan. With Balloons over Bagan you get a magnificent birds-eye
view of thousand year-old pagodas, temples and the mighty
Ayeyarwaddy River. The champagne flights at sunrise last just
under one hour and take off daily from October through March.
The balloon is guided by gentle winds not exceeding 15 mph.Commercial passenger ballooning has the best safety record
of all forms of air transport. Balloons over Bagan's pilots and
technicians are qualified and registered in the UK. All
balloons, which are built to the highest standards of the
British aerospace industry, are provided by Cameron Balloons
Limited, the world's largest manufacturer of high quality
balloons.
Each balloon is insured for three million dollars,
third party and passenger liability. Balloons over Bagan is a
private Myanmar Company that is committed to the preservation of
Bagan and its environment. A small contribution from each flight
will be donated to community programs that directly benefit the
local population.
Due to the limited capacity, advance bookings at an early
stage are highly recommended. Balloons over Bagan operate with a
maximum of six balloons at any one time. Eight, twelve or
sixteen passengers plus a pilot can fit into the balloon’s
basket. The total capacity is 72 passengers per flight daily
from October through to the end of March. |
